Here's my first creation from this "Reproduction in Plastics" class that I'm taking. Ok... it's a little rough but I still think it's cool. In the first class, I started off by making a small dog out of clay. Then I made a mold of it out of rubber. The mold was still a little soft so we let it set until this week's class. Last night, I pried out the clay dog and filled the mold with polyuthrane. The polyuthrane sets pretty fast. You start mixing the two chemicals and it start to heating up and harden.

Cats Can't Taste Sweetness
I heard about this interesting fact about cats and other felines on NPR the other day - they can't taste sweet things. They're "sweet blind." Here's the full story about it.
I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a while back. Tim Burton did a pretty good job with it. He didn't mess it up like Batman.
