Here's some pictures from the "Lightning From Above" part of the Crucible's Fire Arts Festival. There's some previews of stuff that is going to be at this year's Burning Man. I was using the camera on my new Motorola A630 cell phone. It takes ok pictures but one thing that I did discover about it is that it's a little slow in taking pictures. Most of the time, this is ok but things that move around really fast - like fire - comes out like a big blob.
In front, is one of the feathers from the "Angel of the Apocalypse". In back of it is the "Hand of God". Both pieces by the Flaming Lotus Girls.
Here are some pieces by the Flaming Lotus Girls. It's two feathers from their exhibit at this year's Burning Man called the "Angel of the Apocalypse". They're just starting to fire up the feather in the background.
This is one of the pieces of the "Synapses" exhibit for this year's Burning Man. It's this metal cavity with different patterns cut out of the sides. It's filled with burning firewood.
